Overview
A coconut-scented, paraben-free and soap-free shampoo from TropiClean made for kittens and cats with allergies or sensitive skin, sold in a 12 ounce bottle and made in the USA.
TropiClean built this formula around naturally derived ingredients and oat, positioning it for sensitive-skin cats rather than general-purpose bathing. The target species is listed as cat, though the pet type field also covers dog, so it is described as safe to use if a household bathes both.
- 12 fluid ounce bottle
- Gentle coconut scent
- Moisturizing and soothing claims
- Hypoallergenic cat shampoo category
Who it's for
Suits kittens and adult cats with sensitive skin or known allergies, and households that also want one shampoo safe for puppies and dogs. Not a medicated or flea-treatment shampoo, so it will not address a parasite issue.
Pros and cons
- Soap-free and paraben-free formula
- Made in the USA
- Naturally derived ingredients
- Also listed safe for dogs and puppies
- Contains oat, a possible allergen for some pets
- Not a medicated or flea-control shampoo
- No customer review data available yet
Performance notes
The soap-free, paraben-free formula is built to be moisturizing and soothing rather than stripping, which is the usual approach for sensitive-skin pet shampoos. Oat is listed as an allergen consideration, worth checking if the cat has a known oat sensitivity.
