Overview
ZENFUN's landing net uses an aluminum telescopic handle that extends and folds down for storage, in a large size and black finish. It weighs about 0.71 kilograms, light enough to carry rod-side.
The telescopic, foldable design is the point of this net: it collapses for transport and extends when a fish needs landing, rather than staying at one fixed length like a rigid-handle net.
- Aluminum telescopic handle
- Foldable, extendable design
- Large size
- Black finish
Who it's for
Anglers who want a net that packs small in a boat, kayak, or tackle bag and extends only when needed. Less suited to anglers who want a single rigid handle for maximum strength on very large fish.
Pros and cons
- Telescopic handle collapses for compact storage
- Light aluminum build, about 0.71 kg extended
- Telescoping joints are a wear point with heavy use
- Large size may be more net than needed for small fish
Performance notes
Aluminum keeps the extended net light at roughly 1.6 pounds, while the telescopic joints are what let it collapse for storage. That folding mechanism is also the part most likely to wear with repeated extension and retraction, worth keeping in mind for how often the net gets used.
