Overview
A dual density foam back roller built around a helmet grade inner shell, with a center spine groove and two zones of differing firmness for upper and lower back release.
At 12 inches in diameter and 7 inches wide, it's positioned as a self-massage tool for spinal stiffness and shoulder soreness. Feedback splits by body size: a large framed reviewer got strong results, while a petite reviewer found the ridge spacing and height didn't reach the right spots.
- 12 inch diameter, 7 inch wide roller
- Helmet grade inner shell rated to 800 lbs
- Spine groove down the center
- Two firmness zones, soft and hard
Who it's for
People wanting a firm, durable back roller for daily stretching, especially larger framed users. Smaller or petite users may find the ridge spacing and height don't match their build well based on reviewer feedback.
Pros and cons
- Firm side and soft side let you control intensity
- Center groove keeps pressure off the spine itself
- Ridge spacing reportedly doesn't suit smaller frames
- One buyer received a unit with cosmetic marks

Frequently asked questions
What is the FitBeast back roller made of?
A foam outer layer over an inner shell made from the same material used in racing helmets, rated to hold up to 800 pounds.
Does it work for larger body types?
Yes, one reviewer at 6'4" and 310 lbs reported it working well for cracking and stretching his back.
Is it a good fit for a smaller frame?
Not necessarily. A petite reviewer found the ridges spaced too far apart to reach the muscles beside her spine.
