Overview
An aluminum collapsible dog crate sized for large breeds, measuring 41.6 inches long by 29.7 inches wide by 33.9 inches high and weighing 47 pounds. It assembles with side rails and knurled bolts and includes a single lockable door.
K9 Kennel Boss positions this as heavy duty rather than a lightweight folding crate, and the aluminum frame plus bolted side rails back that up compared to the wire or fabric crates common at this size. The manufacturer's lifetime warranty specifically excludes damage caused by the dog itself, a distinction worth reading closely if chewing or scratching is a concern.
- 41.6 x 29.7 x 33.9 inch large breed size
- Aluminum collapsible frame
- Side rails with knurled bolt assembly
- Single lockable door
Who it's for
Built for large dogs that need a sturdy, lockable crate, and for owners who want something more durable than a basic wire fold-down crate while still being collapsible for transport.
Pros and cons
- Aluminum frame with bolted side rails for rigidity
- Lockable single door
- Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects
- 47 pounds, heavier than typical wire crates
- Warranty excludes any damage caused by the dog
Performance notes
Aluminum construction with bolted side rails is generally more rigid than folding wire crates, which is the tradeoff for the added weight. The lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not damage from the dog, so it functions as protection against build quality issues rather than a replacement guarantee for wear from a determined chewer.
