Overview
Sticking a flat panel to a window or wall is how the Mohu Leaf Amplified brings in free over-the-air TV. A switchable Jolt amplifier boosts weak signals, and the long coax cable lets you place it where reception is strongest.
Thin, unobtrusive design and a switchable amp make it easy to hide while pulling in local broadcasts. Results vary a lot by location, building materials and tower direction.
Who it's for
Apartments and homes in suburban or city areas get free local channels with a slim panel. Rural viewers far from towers may need an outdoor antenna.
Pros and cons
- Very thin, easy to hide
- Long coax cable
- NEXTGEN TV ready
- Range depends on location
- No cable channels
- Amp needs USB power
Performance notes
Reception depends on distance to towers and what lies between, such as trees and walls. Placing it high near a window usually helps. The Jolt switch adds gain when signals are weak but can overload strong nearby signals, so test both settings.

Frequently asked questions
Will the Mohu Leaf work with my 4K TV?
Yes. It receives 4K UHD and NEXTGEN TV broadcasts where your local stations offer them, and connects with the included coax cable.
Does the Mohu Leaf give cable channels?
No. An antenna cannot provide cable TV channels, only local over-the-air broadcasts.
When should I turn on the Jolt amplifier?
Try both settings. The switch adds a controlled boost for weak signals.
