Overview
A long barrel tapering to a thin handle gives this Rawlings maple bat its balanced to slightly end-loaded swing. The Ozzie Albies inspired pattern adds a flared knob and a cupped end that trims weight at the tip.
Rawlings uses dense maple and a pro pattern that rewards hitters who barrel the ball. A short warranty means a broken bat is usually a new purchase.
Who it's for
Adult players in wood leagues, men's leagues or training who want a pro-style maple bat. Younger players should choose a youth length and weight.
Pros and cons
- Long barrel for coverage
- Thin handle for whip
- MLB graded wood
- Cupped end trims tip weight
- Wood can break
- Approximate drop only
Performance notes
A thin handle lets the hands whip the barrel through the zone, while the long barrel places more mass out front for a slight end load. Dense maple returns energy well when squared up but punishes mishits.
