Overview
A backyard with space for a full playground gets a cedar set built around a raised clubhouse with wide windows and a wood roof. Kids climb up by a rock wall and wooden bridge, a rope climbing wall or a wide step ladder, then swing or slide back down. Pieces come pre-cut, pre-drilled and pre-stained, with assembly guided by the BILT app.
A covered clubhouse turns the set into a hideout as much as a climber, and the bridge adds a route that a ladder alone cannot. Missing footprint figures make planning harder, since the set is heavy and large enough that placement matters.
Who it's for
Yards with room for a large wooden play structure, and kids who like pretend play under a roof, are the target. Families who need published dimensions or a quick build should keep looking.
Pros and cons
- Shaded clubhouse with wood roof and windows
- Bridge, rope wall and ladder routes up
- Trapeze bar adds a gymnastics option
- Cedar naturally resists decay per the maker
- Overall dimensions not listed
- Heavy kit with a large assembly job
- Many pieces and steps to assemble
Performance notes
Durability rests on the cedar, which the maker says naturally resists decay, and on the factory stain applied to each piece. Swing and trapeze use load the beam, so level ground and secure footing under the frame govern how steady the set feels.
