Overview
A family with a big yard and several kids gets a raised cedar clubhouse with a wrap-around porch, a crawl tunnel to a crow's nest, swings, a wave slide and a sandbox deck below. Pieces arrive pre-cut and pre-stained.
Many play zones let siblings and friends play at once without fighting over one slide. It takes a large footprint, and sand for the sandbox is not included.
Who it's for
Families with toddlers through tweens who want one centerpiece for the backyard get swings, climbing and hideouts together. Homes with small lots should measure the footprint against the yard first.
Pros and cons
- Cedar resists decay naturally
- Many play zones at once
- Crawl tunnel and crow's nest
- Shaded deck with bench and sandbox
- Very large footprint
- Sand not included
- Residential use only
Performance notes
Cedar's natural resistance to decay helps the frame last outdoors. Stability depends on a level site, since the tall clubhouse and swing beam carry dynamic loads from swinging kids.
