Overview
Fitvids' SF-SMDB-D358 is an alloy steel dumbbell set that comes with a rack, sold in pairs across 3, 5 and 8 pound weights, six pieces total, which works out to one pair of each weight.
The three-weight spread makes this a starter set for progressive light training rather than a single heavy pair, and the included rack keeps the six dumbbells organized rather than rolling around the floor.
- 3, 5 and 8 pound pairs included
- 6 pieces total
- Rack included
- Alloy steel construction
Who it's for
Beginners or light-training users, including seniors and rehab exercisers, who want a graduated set of light dumbbells with storage included. Not for lifters who need heavier loads, since the top weight here is 8 pounds.
Pros and cons
- Includes a rack for storage and organization
- Three graduated weights in one set
- Alloy steel build for durability
- Top weight tops out at 8 pounds, limiting strength progression
Performance notes
Alloy steel dumbbells generally offer a durable, low-maintenance option for light training, and having three pairs on one rack lets users move between weights during a single workout without hunting for pieces.
