Overview
Cast iron and finished in black, the Fitvids DB-51015P-2N totals 60 pounds, with its model code hinting at a 5, 10, and 15 pound pairing.
Cast iron is a durable, budget-friendly choice for dumbbells, standing up to repeated floor contact better than coated or vinyl-covered weights, though it can chip painted flooring over time. The DB-51015P-2N model code hints at a 5, 10, and 15 pound pairing, which would match the 60 pound total, but since the attribute data does not itemize the individual pairs, confirm the exact breakdown before buying if you need specific weights.
- Material: Cast iron
- Total weight: 60 pounds
- Color: Black
- Rating: 4.6 out of 5
Who it's for
Good for someone building a home dumbbell rack across a few weight increments rather than needing a single fixed pair. Less useful if you need only one specific weight, since this appears to be a multi-pair set.
Pros and cons
- Durable cast iron construction
- Rated 4.6 out of 5
- Likely spans multiple weight increments
- Exact per-pair weight breakdown not itemized
- Cast iron can chip flooring without a mat
Performance notes
Cast iron dumbbells hold up well to repeated use and floor drops compared to cheaper materials, though the exposed metal can chip surrounding flooring without a mat underneath. At 60 pounds total, this set's real value depends on how that weight splits across pairs, which is not itemized in the available data.
