Overview
A 4 to 6 person round inflatable hot tub from Bestway's SaluSpa line, sized 77 by 28 inches with 140 AirJet bubble jets, an EnergySense thermal cover and Freeze Shield technology built in.
The Freeze Shield feature is the standout here: it lets the pump run automatically in cold weather to stop the water and pipes from freezing, which is not standard across every inflatable spa. The EnergySense thermal cover works alongside that to cut heat loss, positioning this model as the energy-conscious option in the SaluSpa lineup rather than the largest or strongest-jetted one.
- 4 to 6 person capacity
- 77 x 28 inch shell
- 140 AirJet bubble jets
- Freeze Shield and EnergySense cover
Who it's for
Suits owners in areas with cold nights who still want to use an inflatable spa outside peak summer, since the freeze protection is built for exactly that. Less relevant for a warm-climate buyer who only needs a warm-season soak, where the extra insulation features go unused.
Pros and cons
- Freeze Shield protects pipes in cold weather
- EnergySense thermal cover cuts heat loss
- 140 jets for 4 to 6 people
- No listed heater wattage or fill time
- Inflatable liner, not a rigid shell
- Larger 77x28 footprint needs space
Performance notes
Freeze Shield technology monitors water temperature and runs the pump to keep it circulating when conditions turn cold, which is how the tub avoids frozen lines rather than through insulation alone. The EnergySense cover reduces heat escaping between sessions, and the 140 AirJet bubble system runs off the same pump used for heating and filtration.
