Overview
An automatic focus and keystone system aims and sharpens the picture in seconds whenever the Nebula Mars Air is moved. Inside, a DLP engine projects full HD from Google TV, and a built-in battery runs it away from outlets.
Streaming apps, Dolby sound and a battery in one box make it easy to set up a backyard or bedroom movie night. Brightness is modest, so daylight or bright rooms wash the image out.
Who it's for
Renters, campers and anyone without a fixed home theater get a self contained streaming projector. People wanting a bright, permanent big screen in a sunlit room need a much brighter model.
Pros and cons
- Official Netflix on Google TV
- Fast auto focus and keystone
- Doubles as a Bluetooth speaker
- Obstacle avoidance and screen fit
- Modest brightness for lit rooms
- Battery covers about one movie
- Low listed contrast ratio
Performance notes
Image size grows with distance, but the same light spreads over a larger area, so big pictures look dimmer. Battery mode limits runtime, while plugging in allows longer viewing.
