Overview
TaylorMade's Qi10 Rescue uses a larger carbon crown to move weight low and back for a lower center of gravity. Internal front-back split weighting, a V Steel sole and a Thru-Slot Speed Pocket handle launch and turf contact.
The description says it launches easily from tight lies and off the tee, and suits players from touring pros to recreational golfers. A laser alignment feature helps aim. Adjustability and head size are not listed.
Who it's for
A right handed player with enough swing speed for stiff flex who wants a long, easy-launching club for tight lies. Left handed players and slower swingers should look at other versions.
Pros and cons
- Easy high launch
- Carbon crown lowers center of gravity
- Thru-Slot Speed Pocket
- V Steel sole for turf
- Right hand only
- Stiff flex only
- Adjustability not described
Performance notes
Weight low and back raises launch, and the split weighting adds distance and versatility. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket helps preserve ball speed on low face hits, and the Twist Face uses corrective angles to straighten mis-hits. The V Steel sole improves turf interaction.
