Overview
A Jack Nicklaus fan's golf bag or display shelf is where this Vice Pro Bear edition fits, with white balls and one gold ball per dozen. A thin cast urethane cover gives greenside control.
Golfers get a playable urethane ball with special Nicklaus styling, and part of each US sale supports the Play Yellow Campaign. Limited data on compression makes fitting it to swing speed hard.
Who it's for
Fans of the Golden Bear and gift buyers suit this edition. Data-driven ball fitters will want more numbers.
Pros and cons
- Thin urethane cover for control
- Gold ball in each dozen
- Numbered three through six
- Supports the Play Yellow Campaign
- Compression figure not listed
- Limited edition supply
- Gold ball may be too nice to play
Performance notes
Greenside spin comes from the thin cast urethane cover gripping the wedge face. Lower compression lets the ball deform more at impact, which shapes feel off the tee.
