Overview
A small office with a few people sharing one machine is where this HP color laser all in one belongs. It prints both sides automatically, scans both sides in one pass from the feeder, and connects over dual band Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Teams get fast color laser output, single pass duplex scanning and fax in one unit. HP firmware blocks cartridges with non HP chips, so toner has to come from HP.
Who it's for
Small teams producing color reports and scanning stacks of documents will use every function. Home users printing a few pages a month may find it oversized.
Pros and cons
- Duplex print and single-pass scan
- Wi-Fi with self-reset
- Ethernet for networking
- Toner cartridges included
- Blocks non-HP chip cartridges
- Single input tray
Performance notes
Speed and quality come from the laser engine and toner, with color holding up in mixed documents. Single pass duplex scanning reads both sides at once, saving time on stacks. Wi-Fi self reset fixes dropped connections without a restart.
