Overview
Nutro Ultra's weight management formula uses a trio of chicken, lamb and salmon as its protein sources, in a 24 lb bag aimed at adult dogs needing weight control. It's free of corn, soy and wheat, and formulated without GMO ingredients.
Combining three animal proteins in a weight management formula is meant to keep the food palatable while managing calories, rather than relying on a single protein source. The allergen-conscious recipe (corn-free, soy-free, wheat-free) may also suit dogs with grain sensitivities beyond just weight needs.
- Chicken, lamb and salmon protein trio
- Corn, soy and wheat free recipe
- Non-GMO formulation
- 24 lb bag for adult dogs
Who it's for
Fits adult dogs of any breed size that need help managing weight, especially owners also watching for corn, soy or wheat sensitivities. Not intended for puppies, who have different caloric and nutrient needs.

Performance notes
Weight management dog foods typically reduce fat and calorie density while keeping protein up, and the chicken, lamb and salmon trio here is meant to support muscle care and skin and coat health alongside that calorie control. Removing corn, soy and wheat also addresses common grain-related sensitivities some dogs have.
