Overview
Not a plain marble run, the HABA Kullerbu Construction Zone mixes a ball track with working construction vehicles: a dump truck, a cement mixer and a turning crane. Balls roll down ramps, curves and a lift while kids load and haul with the moving parts.
Vehicle play combined with a rolling ball track is the reason to buy for toddlers who love trucks. It connects to any other Kullerbu set, and it is a large, heavy set that needs floor space.
Who it's for
Toddlers and preschoolers who like loading, hauling and watching things roll fit here, and families who own other Kullerbu sets can expand. Older kids after complex runs may outgrow it.
Pros and cons
- Working crane, truck and mixer
- Expands with other Kullerbu sets
- Wood and plastic build
- Many track pieces
- Heavy set to move
Performance notes
Elevated tracks and ramps set the ball speed, while curves and the intersection change its path. The moving vehicle parts give hands something to do between runs, which builds fine motor control.
