Overview
A 6 inch inflatable exercise ball made from EVA foam material, sold with a hand pump, used for core training, physical therapy, and Pilates style stretching.
At 6 inches, this is a small stability ball meant to be squeezed or pressed against rather than sat or lain on like a full size exercise ball. The EVA foam surface is built to hold a slight tackiness once inflated, which is meant to keep it from sliding during floor exercises.
- 6 inch inflatable EVA foam ball
- Included hand pump
- Slight tacky surface texture when inflated
- Compact enough for a gym bag
Who it's for
Works for Pilates, core work, physical therapy exercises, and chair based routines for older adults or anyone easing into movement. Not a substitute for a full size stability ball used for balance or seated exercises.
Pros and cons
- Small size works well for core and physical therapy exercises
- Slight surface grip keeps it from sliding during use
- Comes with its own pump for inflation
- At least one buyer received a unit with sides stuck together and unable to inflate
- Long term air retention is not something buyers can judge on first use
Performance notes
The EVA foam is designed to hold air pressure while keeping a slight surface grip once fully inflated, which is what lets it stay put between the knees or under the back during floor exercises. The included pump inflates it through a small valve, and deflating is a matter of pressing the pinhole tool into that same valve.
