Overview
A rechargeable laser rangefinder rated to 1600 yards with 7x magnification, built for hunting, archery, and shooting, with separate modes for horizontal distance/angle/height and for speed measurement.
Buyer feedback splits along the two mode types: distance and angle measurements are repeatedly reported as accurate against pricier rangefinders, while the speed-measurement mode for tracking moving objects is consistently called unreliable. That's a meaningful distinction since speed tracking is marketed as a headline capability but performs the worst of the two in practice. The rechargeable 1000mAh battery replaces the coin-cell style batteries common in cheaper rangefinders, which matters for anyone who's had a unit die mid-trip.
- Ranges up to 1600 yards with 7x magnification
- Two modes: distance/angle/height and speed
- 1000mAh battery rated for 8000 measurements
- IP54 waterproof, 0.35 lb body
Who it's for
Suits hunters and archers who primarily need accurate distance and angle readings at a mid-range price point.
Pros and cons
- Distance readings match or beat pricier rangefinders
- Rechargeable 1000mAh battery lasts many outings
- Accurate at both archery and rifle-range distances
