Overview
Backyards on summer nights and darkened living rooms are where this projector fits. You focus it with remote buttons, it squares the picture vertically on its own, and the newest WiFi standard handles phone mirroring.
Remote focus and auto keystone make outdoor setups faster, and fast WiFi helps mirroring stay smooth. Ultra HD input is downscaled, and the contrast figure differs between the bullets and the spec table.
Who it's for
Households moving a projector between yard and living room. Anyone wanting native ultra HD detail should look at a true ultra HD projector.
Pros and cons
- Focus from the remote
- Wide auto keystone range
- WiFi 6 mirroring
- HDMI ARC for audio
- 4K downscaled to 1080P
- Contrast figure inconsistent
- Moderate brightness for daylight
Performance notes
Brightness on the screen falls as image size grows, so the largest sizes need full darkness. Keystone correction is digital, so heavy correction trims resolution a little.
