Overview
A sealed optical engine and a built in battery let it project away from outlets, while a handle doubles as a tilting stand. Auto focus, screen alignment and obstacle avoidance set up the picture.
Cordless play for a full film and strong speakers make it a self contained outdoor kit. It has no built in streaming apps, so a dongle is needed, and it is heavy for its size.
Who it's for
People who move a projector between campsite, yard and living room. Buyers wanting Netflix on board should look at a smart model.
Pros and cons
- Runs on battery
- JBL tuned speakers
- Sealed engine resists dust
- Handle doubles as stand
- No built in streaming apps
- Heavy to carry far
- Image capped at 120 in
Performance notes
Battery play time depends on brightness and volume settings. The sealed optical engine blocks dust that dims an image over time, and the short throw lets it fill a screen from closer.
