Overview
RUIZU built this clip-on player to hold a large music library and stream it to Bluetooth headphones, with physical buttons you can press without looking. It plays many lossless and compressed formats, records voice and tunes FM radio.
A phone-free way to carry music on a run, with buttons that work by feel, is the reason to buy it. Water protection comes from an included pouch rather than the player itself.
Who it's for
Joggers, cyclists and seniors who want simple offline music will clip it on and go. Listeners who rely on streaming services need a phone or a smart player.
Pros and cons
- Clips to clothing
- Bluetooth and wired output
- Large storage with expansion
- Many audio formats
- Not waterproof by itself
- No streaming apps
- Battery figure listed two ways
- Warranty terms not stated
Performance notes
Battery life depends on Bluetooth use and volume, so wired listening generally runs longer than wireless. Lossless formats like FLAC take more storage than compressed files, which the card slot helps offset. Music loads by dragging files over USB-C, with no app needed.
