Overview
A commute, a gym bag or a child's school backpack is where this HIFI WALKER player works, streaming Spotify or Tidal over WiFi and playing stored files offline. It runs Android with app control for parents and adds FM radio, a recorder and a camera.
Streaming apps, audiobooks and a storage card in one small device cover music, podcasts and video without a phone. Missing battery hours make it hard to judge for long days away from a charger.
Who it's for
Gym-goers, commuters and kids learning with audiobooks get a flexible player with offline storage. People who want cellular calling should keep using a phone.
Pros and cons
- Many streaming apps pre-installed
- Audiobook apps including Libby
- Large card included
- Plays HD video
- Battery hours not listed
- USB 2.0 charging port
- Expansion tops at the included card size
- No cellular service
Performance notes
Responsiveness comes from Android with three gigabytes of memory, so app switching stays smooth. Battery use rises with WiFi streaming and screen time, while offline music draws less power.
