Overview
A steel-frame weight bench from FitGoods weighing just 16.5 lbs, sized 48 inches deep by 16.1 wide by 19.5 tall, in black. Built for home strength setups where a compact, easy-to-move bench matters more than a heavy rack-mounted design.
At just over 16 lbs, this bench is noticeably lighter than most gym-style benches, which points to a foldable or minimalist frame rather than a rack-anchored flat bench. The alloy steel construction keeps costs down while the footprint fits tight home gym corners. Weight capacity isn't listed in the spec data, so heavier lifters should confirm that before pairing it with free weights.
- 16.5 lb alloy steel frame
- 48"D x 16.1"W x 19.5"H footprint
- Black finish
- Compact home-gym sizing
Who it's for
Suits home gym owners short on space who want a basic flat bench for dumbbell work, sit-ups or step exercises. Less suited to serious lifters needing a bench rated for heavy barbell loads, since no capacity figure is provided.
Pros and cons
- Light enough to move or store solo
- Compact 48-inch footprint fits small rooms
- Steel frame at a low overall weight
- No listed weight capacity in the spec data
- Steel-only build may flex more than rack-style benches
Performance notes
The alloy steel frame and sub-17-lb build suggest a bench designed to fold or stack away rather than stay bolted in place, trading some rigidity for portability.
