Overview
A flat, thin panel element does the receiving on the DAANT antenna, gathering broadcast television signals and passing them on to your TV. The black panel is light and slim.
Low weight and a slim profile make it easy to place and to swap in for an older antenna. Real reception data is absent, the channel and range figures read as marketing, and the warranty term is short.
Who it's for
Apartments and homes within reach of local broadcast towers are where a small panel like this makes sense. Viewers far from towers, or people who want cable length and amplification spelled out, should look for a listing with fuller specs.
Pros and cons
- Light, slim panel
- Standard coax impedance rating
- Black finish suits a TV setup
- Range and channel claims look inflated
- Short warranty term
- Cable length not in the specs
Performance notes
Reception depends on distance to broadcast towers, the direction they lie in, and the walls or terrain in between, not on the seller's channel count. Antenna placement and height usually change results more than anything in the spec sheet.
