Overview
Pulling a stuck truck out of mud or sand is the job of the WARN Zeon XD, a heavy duty winch with a three stage planetary geartrain. A HUB wireless receiver and a wired remote both come in the kit, and the control pack can move for low profile mounts.
Deep water sealing and corrosion resistant hardware suit trucks that wade and see road salt. The listing does not state rope type or length, a key detail for recovery planning.
Who it's for
Overlanders and off road crews who winch in water, mud and winter grime fit this kit. Small vehicle owners will find it too large and heavy.
Pros and cons
- Wireless and wired control included
- Sealed against submersion and pressure wash
- Fast line speed claimed
- Corrosion resistant paint and fasteners
- Rope type and length not listed
- Relocation kits sold separately
- Heavy for small vehicles
Performance notes
Pulling force comes from a motor driving a multi stage planetary gear set, which trades speed for torque under load. A mechanical cone brake holds the load when the motor stops. Sealing with O-rings protects the motor and gears from water intrusion during deep crossings.
