Overview
Plugging a pickup-equipped sitar into an amplifier is the idea behind this Studio Edition, which carries tun wood and mixed metal strings. Volume and tone controls sit on the instrument, and it arrives tuned.
A pickup widens the places it can be played, and the mixed metal strings suit the sitar sound. The seller lists no warranty, and no output jack or accessory details are given.
Who it's for
Players of Indian music who also perform amplified get a ready-to-play instrument. Buyers who want warranty cover, a case or a defined output should ask the seller before ordering.

Performance notes
The pickup sends string vibration to an amplifier, and the controls set loudness and brightness. Steel, bronze and brass strings together give a range of tones.
