Overview
Not a gas fire pit, this BALI OUTDOORS chiminea burns wood inside a painted cast iron body with an oval shape and a tall narrow top. It is sized as a small patio fireplace.
Reason to buy: a compact cast iron chiminea with a classic look and a stack that directs smoke upward. Limitation: the listing is sparse, with no cover, tools or warranty details given.
Who it's for
Patio owners who like a traditional wood fire in a small iron body will find the footprint easy to place. Those wanting a large fire, a gas option or listed accessories should look at other models.
Pros and cons
- Cast iron construction
- Classic oval chiminea shape
- Painted brown-black finish
- No cover or accessories listed
- Weight makes moving awkward
- Warranty not listed
Performance notes
Wood burns in the belly of the cast iron body while the narrow stack pulls smoke upward by draft. Cast iron absorbs heat and continues radiating it after the flames die down, though iron outdoors needs protection from rain.
