Overview
Bali Outdoors makes this round alloy steel chiminea for burning wood outdoors, finished in antique brown and black. The listing describes it as an outdoor fireplace or wooden fire pit for backyard, garden and camping use.
A steel body with an antique finish makes a compact wood burning feature for a yard or garden. The limitation is detail: no heat output, lid or ash handling is described, and the title and item type name mix chiminea, fireplace and fire pit terms.
Who it's for
A yard owner who wants a wood fire in a contained steel body, with a dark antique look, is the target. Those who want propane, or who need a spark screen or cover described in the listing, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Wood burning design
- Alloy steel body
- Antique brown and black finish
- Round compact form
- Heat output not listed
- Spark control not described
- Listing mixes chiminea and fire pit terms
Performance notes
A wood fire in a steel body radiates heat from the walls and sends smoke up and out, so how well it works depends on the wood used, the draft and where the chiminea stands. Care instructions are not given in the listing.
