Overview
A chimney draws fresh air into the fire while carrying smoke and soot away, which is the working idea behind this wood burning chiminea. The partially enclosed shape suits smaller outdoor spaces, and a chrome-plated grate lifts out.
The removable grate adds a cooking option that many chimineas omit.
Who it's for
Backyards and campsites where a small wood fire and a grill grate are wanted fit this model. Anyone needing a heat shield or a gas hookup should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Removable chrome-plated grill grate
- Wood burning chiminea design
- Rustic oxidized steel finish
- Easy assembly listed
- Fire tools not included
- Needs normal fire pit safety care
Performance notes
A chimney design pulls air through the base so the fire burns hotter and cleaner, according to the description. Cooking on the grate depends on the heat of the coals and the height of the grate. The partially open front needs the same clearance care as an open fire pit.
