Overview
Snorkel trips, bike rides and ski days are where this camera earns its spot. A front screen frames selfies, the rear touch screen handles settings, and the case seals it for underwater use.
Two screens and a ready kit with card and spare battery make it easy to start filming. Waterproofing depends on the case, the remote wristband is not waterproof, and an external mic is sold separately.
Who it's for
Vacationers and riders who want a full kit in one box. Underwater users should plan on always using the case.
Pros and cons
- Front screen for selfies
- Spare battery and charger
- Memory card included
- Waterproof only in the case
- Remote not waterproof
- External mic not included
Performance notes
EIS uses the gyroscope to shift the frame against shake; strong jolts still show. Each battery lasts a session, so swapping is part of a long day.
