Overview
A 2-pack of 6-foot indoor extension cords, each with three polarized outlets behind safety slide windows, rated 13A/1625W on 16 AWG wire with a 2-prong plug.
This is a compact power cube on a short cord rather than a long-run extension cord, built to turn one outlet into three within arm's reach. The spring-loaded slide windows over each outlet are more a child-safety feature than a weatherproofing one, meant to block dust and curious fingers rather than moisture.
- 3 outlets per cord, 2 cords included
- 6 foot cord length, 16 AWG wire
- 13A/1625W rating, ETL listed
- Spring-loaded safety slide windows
Who it's for
Households needing a couple of short indoor cords to add outlets near a desk, entertainment center or lamp. The 2-prong plug limits it to devices that do not need a grounding pin.
Pros and cons
- Two cords in one pack for two locations
- Slide windows keep dust and small fingers out
- ETL listed for the stated 13A/1625W rating
- 2-prong plug will not accept grounded devices
- Only 6 feet of reach per cord
Performance notes
Each cord carries up to 1625 watts at 13 amps through 16 AWG copper, in line with typical light-duty indoor extension cords, and the ETL listing indicates the units passed third-party safety testing for that rating.
