Overview
A full microbead cushion forms the base of this LapGear desk, and the top adds a device slot, a dual-purpose wrist rest and ledge, two storage pockets and an anti-slip strip. A carry handle is built in for moving it around.
A small workstation for the lap, with a pillow cushion packed in, is what the layout delivers. The listing does not give a warranty or a ventilation design.
Who it's for
Evening laptop sessions that need a pen, a phone and a notebook within reach suit the pockets and slot. Travelers wanting the lightest option, or users needing an angled surface, should choose another style.
Pros and cons
- Two storage pockets on the top
- Dual-purpose wrist rest and device ledge
- Anti-slip strip holds a device in place
- Carry handle built in
- No tilt adjustment listed
- Warranty terms not stated
- Heavier than a plain tray board
Performance notes
The microbead cushion conforms to the lap and spreads the load, while the anti-slip strip adds grip to a device on the surface. The wrist rest doubles as a ledge, so a tablet or phone can lean against it instead of lying flat.
