Overview
An avid golfer who wants tour-style feel and a visual putting aid gets a cast urethane cover and a stripe wrapped around the ball's center. The Speed Wrapped Core targets distance off the tee.
Urethane brings soft feel and spin around the greens, and the stripe makes alignment quick. The listing calls the color blue stripe in specs and lime yellow in bullets.
Who it's for
Regular players working on short game and putting will use the feel and the stripe. High handicappers losing several balls a round may prefer a tougher, simpler ball.
Pros and cons
- Cast urethane cover
- Alignment stripe for putting
- Speed Wrapped Core
- Color listed two ways
- Urethane scuffs more than tougher covers
- Stripe not for everyone
Performance notes
A urethane cover grips the clubface on short shots, adding spin and a soft feel. The core design aims to transfer energy for distance off the tee. The stripe tracks roll so off-line putts show at once.
