Overview
A handheld digital luggage scale rated to 110 pounds, with a hook and strap design, kg/lb unit switching, and an automatic shutoff after a minute of inactivity.
- 110 pound / 50 kg capacity
- Kg/lb unit switching
- Auto shutoff after 1 minute
- Reads in about 3 seconds
Who it's for
Suits a traveler who wants to avoid overweight baggage fees by checking a suitcase's weight before leaving home. Less relevant for someone who never checks bags close to the airline limit.
Pros and cons
- Readings matched airport scales up to 70 pounds
- Reads in about 3 seconds
- Switches between pounds and kilograms
- Small enough to pack in a suitcase
- One buyer received a unit that kept powering on and off
- Rated to 110 pounds, though reviewer checks only confirmed accuracy to about 70
Performance notes
A strap and hook combination lifts the bag by hand while the LCD display stabilizes on a reading, and a low-power auto shutoff after about a minute is meant to preserve the battery.
