Overview
Not a receiver dongle mouse, the Lenovo silent mouse pairs over Bluetooth with Windows, Mac and Chromebook laptops, freeing a USB port. Quiet switches and a right handed shape suit long sessions in libraries and shared offices.
Silent clicks and receiver free pairing make it easy to carry and use anywhere quiet. Right handed only, and any computer without Bluetooth cannot use it at all.
Who it's for
Laptop users who travel or work beside others get a quiet, compact mouse with no dongle to lose. Left handed users and gamers wanting high sensitivity should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Near silent clicks
- No USB receiver needed
- Three DPI steps
- Rechargeable battery included
- Right hand only
- Needs Bluetooth on the computer
- Battery life not listed
Performance notes
Bluetooth pairs directly with the laptop radio, so there is no dongle but also no fallback on machines without Bluetooth. The optical sensor tracks on most desk surfaces, and the DPI switch sets how far the pointer moves per inch of hand travel. Dampened switches cut click noise.
