Overview
Setting this soundbar under an LG QNED TV, then placing the wireless rears behind the couch, creates a full surround system. The LG soundbar adds Dolby Atmos and DTS:X with an up-firing center speaker and a wireless subwoofer.
Wireless rears and a subwoofer give real surround and deep bass without long cables. LG TV owners get WOW Orchestra, using both speaker sets together with one remote. The matching shelf bracket is an extra accessory.
Who it's for
Movie and gaming fans with LG QNED TVs will get the tightest fit and features. People in small apartments who want a single bar for speech may find it more than they need.
Pros and cons
- Wireless rear speakers
- Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
- Powerful wireless subwoofer
- Pairs with LG TV speakers
- Synergy bracket sold separately
- Some features need an LG TV
- Rears still need power outlets
Performance notes
Atmos height effects come from the up-firing center bouncing sound off the ceiling, so flat, low ceilings work most reliably. Rear placement and room size shape the surround effect. The wireless subwoofer gives deep bass but needs an outlet nearby.
