Overview
Nylon construction and a 22 pound rated load define the Weighted FZTZ-22LB, an adjustable vest with universal sizing, though its recorded item weight of 11.68 kilograms runs noticeably higher than that 22 pound name.
Adjustable vests like this one typically use removable weight blocks so the total load can be tuned down from its maximum rating, which may explain why the 11.68 kilogram item weight, about 25.75 pounds, runs heavier than the 22 pound name on the listing, since packaging and the full set of blocks add to the shipped weight. Nylon holds a stiffer, lower stretch shape than neoprene alternatives, which some users prefer for a snug fit during running or plyometric work.
- Nylon material
- 22 pound rated adjustable load
- Universal sizing
- Built for exercise and fitness use
Who it's for
Lifters and runners who want an adjustable weighted vest sized for universal fit. Not for anyone who needs one confirmed fixed weight without checking the listing's discrepancy first.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable load rather than a fixed single weight
- Nylon stays snug during running or plyometric work
- Item weight of 11.68 kilograms does not match the 22 lb name
- Universal sizing may not suit every frame
Performance notes
Nylon holds its shape with less stretch than neoprene, keeping the vest snug during running or jumping drills, and the adjustable design lets the load be reduced by removing weight blocks rather than owning a fixed weight vest.
