Overview
FishTrip's Power Clip is a quick change fishing connector sold as a multi-piece pack in black and silver, letting anglers swap lures or rigs onto their line without retying a knot each time.
Quick change clips like this snap onto the line end so a lure or leader can be unclipped and swapped in seconds, which is the main appeal over a tied snap or a traditional barrel swivel. The listing's title and its size field disagree on exact pack count, so buyers should confirm the count shown at checkout rather than assume a single number.
- Quick change lure clip
- Multi-piece pack
- Black and silver finish
- No retying needed between lure swaps
Who it's for
Anglers who change lures often through a day on the water and want to avoid retying knots. Less useful for anglers who prefer a permanent, low profile knot connection with no clip hardware at all.
Pros and cons
- Lets anglers change lures without retying a knot
- Sold in a multi-piece pack for restocking rigs
- Listed pack count is inconsistent between the title and size field
- Clip hardware adds a small amount of bulk versus a direct knot
Performance notes
A quick change clip works by opening on a hinge or pin so the lure's split ring or eye can be dropped in and closed, trading a small amount of line to lure movement for speed of changes. The black and silver finish is a cosmetic choice and does not affect strength.
