Overview
A writer who wants to draft without notifications gets a portable digital typewriter with a full-size mechanical keyboard and a backlit LCD screen. Wi-Fi backup sends work off the device, and the body is plastic.
A single-purpose device removes apps and browsers from the writing session. Cloud services, file formats and setup steps are not described in the listing, and no weight or run time is given.
Who it's for
Novelists, journalists and students who write in long sessions are the target audience. Anyone who edits layouts, browses or uses office files should stay with a regular laptop.
