Overview
A portable, octagonal playpen measuring 47 by 16 inches, built as a 2 in 1 enclosure that works for cats and small or medium dogs alike. It folds down into an included carry bag for use away from home.
The category listing files this under dog crates, but the title and specs describe a playpen, not an enclosed crate, with a zippered nylon build rather than a rigid crate frame. Assembly is required, and the octagonal shape gives more usable floor space than a simple rectangular pen.
- 47 inch by 16 inch footprint
- Octagonal, zippered nylon design
- 2 in 1 use for cats and dogs
- Includes carry bag for portability
Who it's for
Fits owners who want a portable, enclosed play space for a cat, small dog, or puppy indoors or outdoors. Not a substitute for a hard sided crate if confinement security or chew resistance is the priority.
Pros and cons
- Portable with an included carry bag
- Octagonal shape adds usable space
- Works for cats and small or medium dogs
- Rated for indoor and outdoor use
- Assembly required out of the box
- Soft nylon sides, not a rigid containment crate
Performance notes
The zipper closure and nylon construction make the pen light enough to pack in its carry bag, and the octagonal shape is meant to give a pet more room to move than a narrow rectangular pen of similar footprint. It suits both indoor and outdoor placement.
