Overview
Golfers with moderate swing speeds get a ball whose REACTIV iQ cover and XCLRNT mid-layer rebound hard on tee shots and hold the face longer on approaches. This is the prior generation of the Tour B RX in the MindSet finish.
Distance off the tee and extra grab around the green both come from the same reactive cover system. The weak spot is the listing itself, which leaves the count and the ball color unclear.
Who it's for
Players who already like the Tour B RX feel and do not mind an older generation will recognize what they are getting. Shoppers who need the exact quantity and color confirmed should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Reactive cover adds rebound off the tee
- More spin on approach shots
- Softer feel around the green
- Used in professional competition
- Pack size not clearly stated
- Color listed as yellow and white
- Older generation of the model
- Many specs copied from a golf club
Performance notes
Tee shot distance comes from the cover rebounding at impact, which raises ball speed. On slower approach swings the same cover stays on the clubface longer, which adds spin and a softer feel. Swing speed decides which side of that system a player notices most.
