Overview
A soft, lower compression core called the Hyper Elastic SoftFast Core drives ball speed off the driver in this Callaway ball. A urethane coating adds spin around the green, and the Triple Track lines help aim putts.
Distance with soft feel is why to buy it, aimed at a wide range of swing speeds and especially low to mid handicap golfers. The listing gives no compression number, so players matching a ball to their swing have less to go on.
Who it's for
Golfers who like a soft feel but do not want to give up distance, and who putt with a line, get the most from it. Players who dislike alignment markings should choose a plain ball.
Pros and cons
- Soft core raises driver ball speed
- Urethane coating adds wedge spin
- Triple Track lines aid putting
- Custom text option
- Compression number not listed
- Alignment lines are not for everyone
Performance notes
Driver distance comes from the soft, fast core, which launches the ball high with low spin. Greenside control comes from the urethane coating and the high elongation paint that let wedges bite. Triple Track lines help only if you line them up on every putt.
