Overview
Sticking a compact, screen-free camera in place with an adhesive mount gives a front-facing recorder that is run from a phone app. The box adds a cigarette lighter power cord, a trim tool and cable clips for a tidy install.
Choose it for a discreet, easy-to-fit front recorder with a card in the box and a phone app instead of a screen. The limits are the missing rear view, no on-device display and a parking monitor whose power needs the listing does not spell out.
Who it's for
A commuter who wants a discreet recorder with loop recording and a sensor for incidents. Skip it if footage must be reviewed on the device itself, or if front and rear coverage is needed.
Pros and cons
- 4K video listed
- Screen-free compact body
- Loop recording and G-sensor
- Memory card and power cord included
- Front view only
- No on-device display
- Parking monitor wiring not described
- App needed to view footage
Performance notes
The lens records to the microSD card, and loop recording overwrites the oldest footage when the card fills. The G-sensor flags impact footage so an accident lock can protect it, and the phone app handles setup and playback over WiFi. Parking monitoring depends on how the camera is powered.
