Overview
Swapping in a fresh cartridge restores filtered water at the dispenser and ice maker of a matching LG or Kenmore refrigerator. The media is an activated coconut carbon block, and install stickers help track the change date.
A four pack covers several changes, and the long model list makes checking compatibility straightforward. The limitation is the missing change interval, so replacement timing comes from the refrigerator manual.
Who it's for
A household that wants spare cartridges on hand for a listed LG or Kenmore refrigerator gets a full year of changes in one box. Owners of other brands, or of unlisted LG models, should confirm the filter type before ordering.
Pros and cons
- Four filters in the pack
- Long LG model compatibility list
- Coconut carbon block media
- Month stickers for tracking
- Change interval not listed
- Weight is missing from the data
- Compatibility limited to named models
- Contaminant claims are the seller's
Performance notes
Water passes through the carbon block, which the listing says reduces chlorine, taste, odor, cysts, rust and corrosion. The NSF marks cover taste and odor and a second standard. Real filter life depends on water quality and usage, and no figure is listed.
