Overview
A foldable, retractable fishing net from Beyond with an aluminum frame and rubber netting, built for pier fishing. The net collapses down for storage and extends out when landing a fish, aimed at anglers who need a compact net for pier or dock use.
Rubber netting is a notable detail here since it is gentler on a fish's slime coat and less prone to tangling hooks than mesh netting, a common upgrade for anglers practicing catch and release.
- Foldable and retractable frame
- Aluminum frame with rubber netting
- Built for pier fishing
- Green color
Who it's for
Fits pier and dock anglers who need a net that packs small when not landing a fish and extends out over a rail or edge. Less suited to boat anglers who need a fixed-handle net or those targeting very large or heavy fish beyond what a lightweight aluminum frame is built for.
Pros and cons
- Retractable and foldable design saves storage space
- Rubber netting is gentle on fish and resists tangling
- Lightweight aluminum frame
- Aluminum build likely not intended for very large or heavy fish
- Variable size spec makes it unclear how far it extends
Performance notes
The retractable aluminum handle lets the net extend well beyond arm's reach, which matters for pier fishing where the water can be several feet below the rail. Rubber netting reduces fin and hook tangling and is easier on a fish's protective slime layer than knotted mesh, useful for catch and release.
