Overview
A broadcast receiving element gathers over the air television signals and passes them to a TV tuner for local channels. Lyrwihn lists it in dark grey with a long range rating and a broad channel count, but publishes little else about its build.
Free local broadcasts with no subscription are what it offers. The weak point is the thin listing, with no size, cable or amplifier details in the specs, so placement and testing at home decide whether it works for you.
Who it's for
Apartments and houses with towers in view or a short distance away are where a simple antenna like this works most reliably. Shoppers who need documented dimensions, gain figures or an amplifier spec should choose a listing with full details.
Pros and cons
- Receives local broadcasts without a subscription
- Multi-year manufacturer warranty
- Standard television impedance rating
- Size and cable length not listed
- Range rating depends on terrain and placement
- Very thin product details overall
Performance notes
Reception depends on distance to the broadcast towers, what stands between them and the antenna, and where it is placed in the home. A channel count in a listing describes what it could tune, not what your location receives. Moving it higher or nearer a window facing the towers usually changes results more than any rating.
