Overview
Bridgestone pairs a REACTIV iQ smart cover with an XCLRNT mid-layer in this multi-layer ball, aiming for faster rebound off the driver and more spin on approaches. It comes as a double dozen.
Built for moderate swing speeds, it gives average players more ball speed without giving up stopping power on the green. Faster swingers will compress it too easily for the intended flight.
Who it's for
Mid-handicap and senior golfers who do not reach tour swing speeds get a ball fitted to them. Long hitters should look at a model built for higher speed.
Pros and cons
- Fitted for moderate swing speeds
- Distance off the tee
- Spin and soft feel around greens
- Double dozen pack
- Not for fast swing speeds
- Cover material not listed
- White only in this listing
Performance notes
The cover reacts differently to impact speed: it rebounds quickly on full driver strikes and grips longer on slower approach shots, which adds spin. The mid-layer helps transfer energy for ball speed.
