More from this brandAll Vector Optics rifle scopesOverview
A 2-12x44 first focal plane riflescope with a 34mm tube, illuminated MPVO VET-CTR 2 reticle, zero stop turrets, and IP67 waterproofing. Model SCFF-67.
Vector Optics positions this as a mid-range scope for both game hunting and target shooting, with the first focal plane reticle keeping ranging marks accurate at any magnification rather than only at max zoom. The 34mm tube is wider than the common 30mm standard, used here for extended adjustment travel.
- 2-12x44 first focal plane riflescope
- 34mm tube with 93%+ light transmission
- Illuminated MPVO VET-CTR 2 reticle
- Zero stop turrets and IP67 waterproofing
Who it's for
Hunters and target shooters who want a versatile mid-range scope that holds accurate holdover marks across its full zoom range. Less suited to long range specialists who need magnification well past 12x.
Pros and cons
- First focal plane reticle accurate at any magnification
- 34mm tube for extended adjustment
- Over 93 percent light transmission per spec
- Zero stop and turret lock
- Magnification tops out at 12x, limiting long range use
Performance notes
Because the reticle sits in the first focal plane, its ranging marks scale with magnification, so holdover and distance estimation stay accurate whether you're at 2x or 12x, unlike a second focal plane reticle that's only true at one setting. Fully multi-coated lenses are rated for over 93 percent light transmission, and the zero stop turret lets you return to a known zero after dialing for a shot.
