A large screen Android tablet with LTE, four speakers and pen support for drawing and notes. The stylus is not in the box and the processor is midrange, so heavy games and art apps can lag.

Overview
Not a drawing tablet with a pen in the box, the TECLAST Artpad Pro is a large Android tablet that supports a pressure sensitive stylus sold separately. It runs ArtOS on Android with a cellular modem, four speakers and a factory fitted screen protector.
A big screen with cellular data and stylus support makes it a flexible media and note taking slate.
Who it's for
Streaming, reading sheet music and taking handwritten notes on the go suit this large slate. Pro illustrators will want a faster chip and a brighter panel.
Pros and cons
- Large screen for split windows
- Cellular data and GPS built in
- Four speaker sound chamber
- Pressure sensitive pen support
- Stylus not included in the box
- No headphone jack
- Modest screen brightness
- Physical RAM well below headline figure
Performance notes
The midrange MediaTek chip handles video, browsing and note apps, while virtual memory pads multitasking at slower speed than physical RAM. Pen input runs through the screen's active capacitive layer, so only T-Pen or compatible USI pens give pressure levels. Charging protection adjusts the rate to the battery's state to slow wear.
